Download and first steps

The RTA Dubai app is available on iOS and Android. After you download it, sign in with your Emirates ID or passport number. New users must verify their mobile number with an OTP sent by ICP. Once verified, the app shows your driving licence status and any active vehicle registrations linked to your profile.

Paying traffic fines

All Dubai traffic fines appear inside the app within 24 hours of issuance. You can pay directly with a saved card or Apple Pay. The minimum fine amount starts at AED 100 for minor violations and reaches AED 3,000 for serious offences. Paying within 30 days avoids the 50 percent late fee added by RTA.

Topping up and managing NOL cards
