Where to Apply: ICP vs Airlines vs Agents

Approved travel agents and OTAs like VFS Global or Dubai Tourism partners can also process applications, sometimes with added service fees.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Applying through unofficial websites that charge hidden fees.
Entering passport details incorrectly, causing automatic rejection.
Forgetting to check that your passport has six months validity from the date of arrival.
Assuming visa-on-arrival is guaranteed without verifying your nationality.
Not saving the PDF visa and arriving only with the confirmation email.

Fees vary by visa type and duration. Tourists should verify current fee with ICP or their airline, as prices are updated regularly. Typical ranges include AED 300–400 for a 30-day single-entry visa and AED 650–750 for a 60-day multiple-entry visa. Transit visas are often free when booked with participating airlines.

Use a stable internet connection and a personal email you check often.
Keep a digital and printed copy of the visa approval.
If travelling with family, apply for all visas in one session to keep records together.
Double-check the spelling of your name exactly as it appears in your passport.
