Art Dubai 2026 opens Thursday 20 March and runs through Sunday 23 March at Madinat Jumeirah. The fair occupies the same waterfront halls used in previous years, with extra outdoor courtyards added for large-scale sculpture. Morning sessions run 11 am to 2 pm; evening sessions start at 4 pm and finish at 9 pm.

Ticket Prices and Entry

General admission costs 95 AED per day or 250 AED for a four-day pass. Students and teachers pay 50 AED with valid ID. Children under 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are sold only through the official website or on-site kiosks, cash and card accepted. No advance online booking is required for standard entry, but VIP passes sold out by mid-February.

Best Pavilions to Visit

Start in Hall 1 for the main galleries section. Look for Tabari Artspace from Dubai and Lawrie Shabibi from London; both show strong regional photography and mixed media. Hall 2 houses the Bawwaba section, dedicated to artists from the Global South. Do not miss Kader Attia’s large installation or the Kenyan collective brush-work display. The fair’s new Digital Pavilion sits in a separate tent behind Hall 3. It features UAE-based NFT and projection-mapping studios open for live demos every hour.

Parallel Gallery Walks

After leaving the fair, walk five minutes to Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz. Most galleries stay open until 8 pm during the fair week. Hit Leila Heller, Green Art Gallery, and the newly opened Custot Gallery. A short taxi ride to DIFC brings you to the Gate Village cluster, where galleries offer free wine receptions from 6 pm onward. Carry cash for small-edition prints often sold only during the fair.

Practical Tips

Book a hotel within walking distance at Madinat Jumeirah or nearby Souk Madinat to avoid peak-hour taxi queues. Carry a reusable water bottle; free refill stations are placed at every pavilion exit. Photography is allowed without flash, but tripods need prior approval from the press desk. If you plan to buy, ask for an export certificate at the gallery desk; most pieces leave the UAE duty-free.
